cheap cleveland browns jerseys Berry Events Center to replace current scoreboard with a video scoreboard
“When the Wildcats score that goal and you missed it because you were talking to your friend, you can see it on the replay on the big boards above, so that’s really nice,” said Derek Hall, NMU’s assistant vice president of marketing and communications.
For the first time since the Berry Events Center was built in 1999, the facility will be getting a new scoreboard.
“We have about 50 official events in the Berry every year,” Hall said. “It’s a busy building and the community is here a lot. Any improvements we can make are good improvements. ”
The current center hung scoreboard at Berry Events Center is being removed this weekend.
It’s replacement will be ready to go by the Wildcats first game in October.
“We’re building a lot of video assets that will add to the game experience,” Hall said. “It’s going to add a lot of work, but I think it will add a lot to the experience of attending games.”
The single sided scoreboards are already in place.
In addition to the new scoreboards, NMU also hung signage on the outside of the building.
Hall said NMU is also planning to install more lighting on the outside of the Berry Events Center. They’ll also be putting graphics on the windows at the front of the arena highlighting the sports played there: hockey, men’s basketball and women’s basketball.
